Welcome to the official website of the Japanese Chin Club of the Carolinas!

We are a small club of Japanese Chin enthusiasts where we come together once per year to celebrate the love and beauty of these oriental treasures.

Our club consists of owners who show, breed, train, judge and love this cherished Japanese canine breed. Our purpose is to educate the public and owners of the qualities of just what a Japanese Chin is and the importance of preserving a breed of dog from antiquity.

The Carolinas boast some of the best breeders in the United States. Our Japanese Chins have consistently competed, placed and won in top competitions at National Specialties, high ranking All-Breed Dog Shows, Westminster KC, The AKC Invitational Show, The Kennel Club (UK) and even the World Dog Shows. We have imported Japanese Chin from all countries and have exported our beautiful Chins all over the world.

Our 15th & 16th annual Specialties will be with the Speedway Classic!! Back home in Concord, NC! The All-Breed Shows will be held Thursday, July 20 through Sunday, July 23rd, 2023. That is 6 Shows (6 chances for majors!), 2 Sweepstakes, 2 Specialties!!

The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is located at 4751 State Highway 49, Concord, North Carolina 28025.

Our Specialties will be held back-to-back concurrently on Friday and Saturday. Our Friday Judge will be Ms Mary Jane Carberry and Sweeps will be judged by Ms Jan Gladstone-Ritchie. Saturday's Judges are our very own Mr Scott Toney for Breed and our Sweepstakes Judge will be Mrs Marisa Capozza-Schmidt.

Hopefully, we won't be moving again. We will be able to have our Bake Sale again and our Meet The Breed Booth.
